Access admin
Requests, approvals and installations of Beethoven, both editions, and who reads the lab’s storage. For the maintainer only.
~/.beethoven-vendor/admin_token. Kept in this browser tab only, until you close it.
Waiting for a decision
Every request the form stored. When the service e-mails students, a request is marked Mailbox not confirmed until the student confirms from their Wayne State mailbox; it lapses after seven days if they do not, and they can send the form again.
Approved
After an approval for Beethoven: installed once their first installation has checked in. The invited stage and the Google Group Beethoven-users served the private listing until 19.0.0; since 20.0.0 the listing is public and the group adds nothing, so the stage stays only for older records.

Lab storage, read only
People who asked to read named folders of the lab’s storage on the grid
(/rs/rs_grp_oschome), or all of it, apart from Beethoven. A reader gets the lab
group’s read on their folders and nothing more: never write, never another folder. All of the lab storage is
everything in it that the group may read and the volume’s owner owns; a folder another person owns stays as
they set it. The grid tool applies the list at its next run; the Unix group stays C&IT’s. The
person is not e-mailed: tell them yourself.

The grid’s token
The grid copies the approved list and the readers itself, with a token of its own that can read those two lists and nothing else. It is given once, as a file, and the service keeps only a fingerprint of it.
